Claudine is a native English speaker and has been living in Germany for almost 20 years. Before beginning her career as a freelance translator 10 years ago, she worked at a patent law firm and an international investment management company. 


Alongside her translation work, Claudine holds a teaching position at the Sprachen- und Dolmetscher-Institut München, teaching students to translate legal documents from German into English. She also offers one-to-one Business English Coaching.


Her areas of translation expertise include IT law, tax law, labour law, corporate law, construction and property law, auditing, and annual financial statements. Proofreading text and translations prepared by non-native speakers of English also makes up a large part of her work.
